We believe privacy is a fundamental human right. As a company dedicated to public service and education, our approach to data is simple: collect as little as possible, protect it fiercely, and give you total control.
We collect only the bare minimum information required to power your study journey. This includes your email address for account access, and your zip code (to determine your local political representatives). We do not ask for your A-Number, full legal name, or sensitive immigration status.
Your data is used strictly to power the Ankee Engine. We track your right/wrong answers and review times solely to feed the Spaced Repetition algorithm, ensuring you see the right flashcards at the right time. We do not sell your data to third parties, marketers, or data brokers.
All data sent between your device and our servers is encrypted using industry-standard TLS. Passwords are cryptographically hashed and salted. We employ regular security audits to ensure that your study progress and personal information remain completely private.
You own your data. At any time, you can request an export of your study history or permanently delete your account directly from your Profile settings. Deleting your account will immediately and irrevocably erase all your personal information and study history from our active databases.
